Ascension Worship exists to ignite a passion within the local church, to encourage the local church to be Christ’s presence in a hurting and dying world and to be a catalyst for growth in the kingdom of God.
History
Ascension was birthed in 2006 with the same desire that has become our mission today; to be a resource to the local church. What began as experiential worship environments in a culture that was learning to communicate inside and outside the church walls has grown to a larger expression of the same and now bridges a gap between denominations and generations. We are a federally recognized 501(c)3 charitable corporation within the state of Florida.
Moving Forward
In 2007 we ended our year around the theme “Love God, Love People” and how if we’re doing one, then the other is going to take place as well. In 2008 we spent the year focusing on “Unify” and how as Christians we share a common bond and are working towards a common goal. 2009 challenged us greatly as we centered our year on the theme “Give Yourself Away”. In 2010 we focused on “Awake”, both waking up to God's interactions and the wake we leave as we travel through this existence. 2011 took us on the "Recollect Tour" as we were challenged to remember those things that had been temporarily forgotten.
